Master Thai Seeds is a solid independent breeder from North America, and has been growing with organics for over 35 years. Tahoe Gold is one of his best. A 50/50 indica/sativa strain, this has the genes of a real 1968 Skunk #1 straight from the breeders of Cali which was bred with a Hindu Kush grown from seed, circa 1975.

A versatile plant which can adapt well to any grow method, this plant is like the tortoise rather than the hare; it starts off slowly but before you know it, it’ll be growing full steam ahead and surpassing other strains at the end of the flowering stage. Tahoe Gold tends to spread its branches out around a large central bud, staying fairly short throughout its whole life, and for this reason, is a good choice if you’re working with a SOG set up. Finishing times range from 62 days indoors, through 65 days in a greenhouse, to a full 72-day cycle if you place them outside, with a harvest in October. Expect to yield around 100 grams per plant if you’re growing indoors with 1000 watts of light.

Grown for the medicinal user, Tahoe Gold relaxes the body and prompts a positive state of mind while leaving the smoker still able to function, though it hits much harder if cooked into edibles. Also carrying a sweet taste, this strain is one that is both enjoyable and effective.

  1. 1968 Skunk #1.

Since Swerve was the one that named Larry OG Tahoe OG so he could pretend he brought something to the table... it makes it REALLY hard to track Tahoe back FURTHER than that... it's a made up name for Larry. Ever notice how the real cuts are identical? It's amazing the BULLSHIT they let in these strain books. Who does the editing? I mean Stoney GIrl and he 30 day Flowering Strains... someone else taking credit for Green Crack... A Bunch of people taking credit for clone onlies who just started breeding last year... it's fucking unreal. Hey Master Thai - aren't you the guy who said you taught the Brothers Grimm everything they know in an Amsterdam Prison? Or Was that Thailord... it's one of the Thai idiots. Either way, get your facts straight beofre you start spouting. You also have a strain that's supposed to be an early 70's Indica. Indica (afghani, Pakistani) weren't even being cultivated at that time for hash, they were just naturally occurring cannabis genetics form the region. They weren't being sent out of the coutry - this is why all you had was sativas at the time. GET YOUR SHIT STRAIGHT! Green Candy press, your books are GREAT, but putting guys like this in there really brings down the credibility severely. I hope next time you'll leave out guys likes this and have someone help you with the research.
