Kamoto Kush by M.G.M. Genetics

M.G.M. Genetics, USA
Pure Indica
Genetics: Purple Kush x Indica 6
Potency: THC 19%

USA-based company M.G.M. Genetics is a medical cooperative passionate about creating strains that help patients. One of these is Kamoto Kush, the end result of a project left unfinished by the breeders’ mentor. This Purple Kush was a mix of pure Kush and a bag seed purple male, which M.G.M. then crossed with his original i6 male over several generations until he found the phenotype that became Kamoto Kush.

With so many indica/sativa cross strains around it’s easy to forget what happens when you lose the vigor of a hybrid, but Kamoto Kush, a pure indica, grows slowly in the vegetative state and needs a full 60 days in bloom to reach its potential. It is also very sensitive to temperature and, to bring it into color, you will need to expose it to lower temperatures. These plants will reward you well if grown in their favorite hydro set up.

Though the bud isn’t overly aromatic, you will detect a smell of coffee and melting hash in your nose and a sweet, oily taste in your mouth. With Kamoto Kush, couch lock is pretty much guaranteed so prepare yourself and have some good company and some tasty treats nearby, as you’ll also succumb to a severe case of the munchies.
