Sweet Chunk by Alpine Seeds

Alpine Seeds, Switzerland
Indica-Dominant
Genetics: Sweet Pink Grapefruit x Deep Chunk IBL
Potency: THC 16-20%

Switzerland’s Alpine Seeds consistently impresses seed buyers, growers and breeders with its quality genetics and highly stabilized, niche strains. Sweet Chunk, a stunning cross of Sweet Pink Grapefruit and a Deep Chunk IBL, is no different. The indica dominance of this plant stems from its heritage, as Deep Chunk is a Pakistani/Aghani hybrid, and SPG is an old Northern Lights #1 phenotype. Breeders love this strain as it is incredibly stable and is not a polyhybrid. The Deep Chunk parent has dominated the cross and its influence gives these plants perfectly homogenized and stabilized growth patterns.

These plants give hard and compact nuggets and a yield of around 30 to 40 grams each if grown to 32 inches in height. Sweet Chunk clones take just 10 days to root, so if you find one you like, it’s easy to keep her as a mother plant. Plants are mold and spider mite resistant and can handle a minimal amount of nutrient feeding. Be sure to use a minimum of 2 to 4 weeks of light at 18 on/6 off to ensure healthy growth. This plant is not compatible with maxi-cropping or any cutting of the stalk prior to harvest.

Smokers should expect a munchies-inducing couch lock to hit them hard and fast when they smoke this strain, but this is offset by the mild uplifting buzz that sets in after a little while. The SPG heritage means that Sweet Chunk tastes and smells of grapefruit, with sweet and fruity undertones and a hashy aftertaste.
