Zombie Virus by O.G.A. Seeds

OGA Seeds, Canada
Indica-Dominant
Genetics: Pure Indica x Diesel
Potency: THC 19%

OGA Seeds is a Canadian seed bank offering high quality, unique strains for growers around the world. For their fabulously-named Zombie Virus, they have crossed their two favorite strains from 2008: a beautiful pure indica mom and a Diesel cross dad. The stability of the mother plant and the grapey undertones of the father give a plant that is a joy to both grow and smoke, no matter what your toke tolerance.

The ease of growing Zombie Virus makes it a good choice for growers of any level, and it also clones easily, too. With its mother’s durable form, this plant can handle a lot of nutrients and responds well to fertilizer, but if you’re working with an outdoor grow, you should ensure that it doesn’t get rained on too much due to its sticky nature. It responds well to topping, but continues a steady growth even without. Even in a 3 gallon pot, Zombie Virus will give a substantial yield. Don’t leave it in the vegetative stage for too long, especially if growing indoors, as it will become unruly. If you have room for the 8 feet tall plants outside, then let them go mad.

If its ability to grow almost on its own gives it the Virus tag, then the stone definitely gives rise to the Zombie part of the name: stoners smoking this strain will be put into a living dead stupor by the oily, grapey buds no matter what their smoking habits are. Get infected!

  1. This strain is purely amazing, just got an outdoor batch of it two days ago, literal white kief on it, all over, a tad leafy but this is some killer bud. def. can see the grape undertones as mentioned above from the father plant.

  4. It is a decent strain for pain relief, but its main focus is high THC. OGA Seeds likely have a high CBD strain just email them, or check the book for another strain that is high in CBD: http://www.amazon.com/Cannabis-Indica-Essential-Marijuana-Strains/dp/1937866254/ email jack@greencandypress.com if you need any info on the books!

  5. It is important to note that soaking or sprouting the seeds in water or wet tissue is not recommended when seeds are of the highest quality, this actually lowers chance of getting healthy plants. Medical Marijuana in Canada

  6. Hey if anyone is still around here where can I find this? I asked a really good friend if there is one strain I could grow for him, as a thanks for helping me out (very ill the last year) he said Zombie Virus. This surprised the hell out of me, I didnt think in his 15 years of total chronic, that would be possible. However Zombie Virus is that one nostalgic weed he will never forget. Well needless to say he put me on quite the hunt. OGA seeds is no more (one twitter update 2 years ago, but as far as I can tell out of business 2011-12ish.) Ive emailed quite a few seed banks to see if maybe old stock laying around -ive tried everything. Anywho there are two possible contenders that can be bought, Lineage seeds has a Zombie Virus which sounds similar, I have emailed them to see if they are the same genetics or just breeders ripping off names. The Other is Sweet Zombie by Expert Seeds, this is the actual OGA seeds Zombie Virus but crossed with Black Domina. Sounds awesome, and maybe ill give it a try but not what I am looking for.

That is where my hunt has got me, so now its a matter of shaking trees. If anyone has any info or leads on OGA or the people running it and where they might be now (I am a fellow Ontario boy), or where I can find seeds, any info at all is helpful. Took me 3 years to Track down legit seeds of Fruitty Pebbles OG so I dont tend to give up the hunt. Thanks.
